Ah finally a gaming post eh??  Well this one is unfortunately a post in anger and not in love of a game.  I recently became the owner of GHIII which is Activisions third installment of the guitar playing rock game and also the owner of Rock Band which is a spin off headed by Harmonix which is similiar except it also has a Mic and Drum set along with its guitar.  But just 1 guitar for each!!
Now one of the great things about these types of games is playing with your friends.  You can play these games online but I always prefer the in person action.  Well, both games only come with 1 guitar so playing with friends is a little harder.  Rock Band has the advantage of having a singer and drum player but is still missing the second guitar or bass.  GHIII only has the one guitar so you need to find another one somehow.

It was found at first that the Harmonix guitar would not work with the GHIII game for some reason and everyone hated Harmonix for it.  Well, Harmonix realized the error and came out with a downloadable patch that was supposed to be released on Dec. 4th which would allow users to play GHIII using their guitar.  Welp, it was all joy until right before release Activision stepped in and blocked the release of the patch effectively restricting us to using JUST the GHIII guitar on the game.  Now hits PISSED me off.  Why in the hell would you stop people from buying more of your product for what seems to be no reason other than a childish TIFF you have with another company?  YOU ARE SCREWING THE GAMERS!!!!!!!!!

If Activision doesn’t allow the release of this patch I fear my word and the word of thousands of others will spread far and wide and I will not stop until everyone knows how shitty GHIII really is for how they treat their users.
