We are now in the new year and things are getting off to a blazing start. I hope everyone enjoyed christmas and nye, as I had an awesome break from the grind of everyday life and had a great time relaxing over the holidays. I won’t get to much into all of my family times or the night out on nye as they, while exciting, were more personal times!! haha. Anyways, what I really wanted to touch on was my new found enjoyment in Rock Band, and what it has done for me… (more…)
Ya, I wasn’t sure I was reading correctly either, but apparently there is a new iPod speaker coming out specifically geared at bike riders. Now I guess you could think to yourself how did this take so long, but on the other hand most bike riders want to actually hear the sound so headphones of course are usually the way that they go. I can see this possibly being pretty cool though and I have to admit I am tempted if not for the part about riding my bike and letting all of San Francisco hear my love for the Temptations but also just for hanging out or walking say in Bay to Breakers which I love so and listening to my tunes. I guess we will see how this thing turns out…
“Pedal to the metal with this water-resistant iPod speaker case that clamps to your bike frame. Handlebar mounted remote control allows for safe cycling while listening to your tunes. This speaker case is perfect for the beach, poolside, and picnics, too.”
I was just sitting here updating my web sites and my iTunes and switched to Queen - Bohemian Rhapsody. Listening to this song made me really want to listen to all Queen so after setting my iTunes to Queen I decided I also wanted to watch them and so I went to YouTube.co and proceeded to be amazed. One of the acts I most regret never seeing in my life was Queen headed by possibly the greatest live performer of all time in Freddie Mercury. They are amazing.
Enjoy
Not that long ago a good friend of mine, Dreya, invited me to see a show with a group I had just barely heard of but not really at a venue I had only been to maybe a handful of times in the past…..I have course said YES! This in the end being one of the better decisions I have ever made:) Hot Chip was the band and the Independant was the venue….and how awesome it really was. Since then I have seen them again at the Mezzanine and then most recently at the Fillmore with a sold out crowd. Now I am still amazed at the amount of people who do not really know who Hot Chip is but I right now must tell you to check them out ASAP and if you could possibly do it see them live because it is one of the best shows ever! Try and see them at as small a venue as possible though, the closer the better.
I got a chance to go see Muse again last night and they never fail to amaze me. An incredible show that ended with a mind smashing double encore it was a ton of fun. I am going to go out there right now, and saw that Muse is easily one of my top 5 bands to see live. They know how to put on a great show and I loved every second of it.
My group creativemindsSF which I put together with my awesome friend nick recently had an art show on Dec. 8th, 2006. and it was a total success. We had a lot of fun meeting new artists and showing our work as well as meeting up with old friends. It was great to be able to share our passions with everyone and just to have a really good time doing what we love. I can’t wait to do our next one and I am sure it will be awesome!!Here are some pictures to show you just how much fun it was!! Check out the website for more.
